Dr. Stellwagen will open her presentation by illustrating the current AAP recommendation for the use of pasteurized donor human milk in pediatrics. Next, she will explain in detail the rigorous safety protocols in non-profit milk banking that assure that donated milk is safe for use, for example the screening process that must be completed by all prospective donor mothers.
