During this webinar, Dr. Boies will illustrate how to provide breastfeeding support to the mother-baby-dyad after hospital discharge. Dr. Boies will begin the webinar by identifying different breastfeeding support strategies and explaining best practices for implementation within the newborns’ discharge medical care plan. Next, she will discuss the different signs that professionals need to recognize in dyads who are having difficulties with breastfeeding, such as sore nipples and engorgement, putting them at risk of breastfeeding failure and detail suggested tactics that can be implemented to help the lactating dyad thrive!
